Ryhan Estate Vineyards in Livermore Valley has its own unique history. Mohan Rao Ravulapati the owner of Ryhan Estate grew up in India where wine is a rarity. Even in India he was interested in wine growing. When he moved to America in the 1980’s he wanted to create the wines he dreamed of long ago. After working in the corporate world and many businesses for 25 years, that passion for wine making grew and seeing California as one of the most prominent wine regions, he knew that his dream could become a reality.

In the 2008 OC Fair and Event Center-Wine Competition Awards, Malbec recently won Silver medal.
In the 2008 Grand Harvest Festival Awards, both Malbec and Rouge-Sang recently won Gold medal and Silver medal respectively in 2008.
